United Airlines is celebrating the airline's inaugural service between Los Angeles and mainland China's commercial and financial center with special fares for economy and business travel and a special Mileage Plus bonus offer.
Customers flying in United Business class between Los Angeles and Shanghai may purchase roundtrip fares for as low as $3,513*, for outbound travel on or after April 5, 2011. Tickets must be purchased by April 29, 2011.
United will operate the Los Angeles to Shanghai service with Boeing 777 aircraft, which offer customers service in United First, United Business and United Economy.

Fares are roundtrip and are valid for travel in United Business on trans-Pacific flights; For tickets purchased through United Reservations offices or at airport ticket counters, additional reservation fees will apply: $25 for United Reservations office bookings and $30 for airport ticket counter bookings. No reservation fees are added for tickets purchased at united.com. Fees are subject to change without notice. Other restrictions may apply. Fares purchased through other distribution channels may also be higher. When purchasing from United, always go to united.com to find United's lowest fares. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights/dates.
Purchase requirements: A seven (7) day advance purchase is required. Tickets must be purchased by April 29, 2011. All reservations and ticket purchases on united.com must be completed simultaneously.
Travel days/dates: Fares are valid for outbound travel Monday through Thursday on/or after May 5, 2011.
